Can a foreign national register an LLP in Kazakhstan?
Yes, foreign participation is allowed, but before registration the migration grounds of the founder and the requirements for foreign documents have to be checked.
Does a foreign director always need a work permit?
No, the law provides for separate cases and exceptions. The answer depends on the ownership structure, the position, the employer and the status of the foreign national.
Can everything be arranged remotely?
Part of the preparation can be done remotely. Some steps require personal presence, the original passport, biometrics, a visit to a consulate, a Public Service Centre or an authorised body.
