The C5 visa is tied to the business activity of a business immigrant, while the C3 visa is tied to the work of a foreign employee or director. The right category is determined by the actual purpose.
Does a foreign director always need a work permit?
No, the law provides for separate cases and exemptions. The answer depends on the ownership structure, the position, the employer and the foreign national's status.
Can everything be arranged remotely?
Part of the preparation can be done remotely. Some steps require personal presence, the original passport, biometrics, a visit to the consulate, a public service centre or the authorised body.
How long does the process take?
The timeline depends on the service, the country of application, how ready the documents are and the government review. We prepare a standard package for a C3 or C5 visa within 5 business days after receiving the complete set of documents.
Is the state fee included in the price?
Unless the proposal or the contract says otherwise, state fees, translations, notary services, legalisation and third-party costs are paid separately.
